Mark Fisher (5)

British architect, stage designer and art director. Graduated as an architect in 1971 from the Architectural Association, London. For more than three decades, he designed stage structures for some of the most popular rock bands and pop singers. His first concert was Pink Floyd's Animals tour in 1977 and he went on to design the band's stage sets over the next two decades, culminating in the 1994 Division Bell tour. His client list included, The Rolling Stones, U2, Madonna, Elton John, Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson and Metallica. He is best known for Roger Waters' performance of The Wall which was broadcast around the world to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall. He has also worked on opening ceremonies for international games including the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
