Hollywood (2)

Female duo. Formerly punk band Xerox Girls before reconstituting as a synthpop duo. Part of the Romo movement. Managed by Club Skinny co-promoter Paul "Hi Fi" Nugent. Third member, drummer David Gray (4). stayed on as synth programmer for Hollywood (2) before becoming live drummer for Orlando (4) who were also managed by Nugent. Stage act included café table and chair plus other props including compact mirror and candelabra. Supported Sparks at Kentish Town Forum. Aside from single and track on Melody Maker tape, demos of up to eleven tracks circulated among regulars on Romo club scene (Arcadia/Club Skinny). Later reformed as Fubar.
