Founded by Per Thomhav a Danish electronic/ambient musician, born 17 November 1967 in Horsens, Denmark. During the 1980s he was part of the band "Synthphonic" formed by friend and musician Flemming Pedersen. The music was heavily inspired by Jean-Michel Jarre and the first fresh inspirations from Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze were also added. In 2019, Per Thomhav formed Synth Replicants and the first album [r25432633] was released on August 1, 2019 on BandCamp and other streaming services via DistroKids . The music on the 12 track album was inspired by Jean-Michel Jarre. Albums were continuously released on BandCamp and via DistroKids and the style and inspiration changed to be predominantly characterized by Tangerine Dream and "Berlin School" bands. On August 21, 2023, American, Steve Labrecque officially became part of Synth Replicants after he participated in a few tracks that would later become the album [r28411945]. Steve Labrecque (2023 - Current) Guitars, composer, whose style is influenced primarily by 70's progressive and hard rock with a love for the music of Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze He started his life in music as a drummer around 10 years old, and started playing guitar and writing his own songs at 13. For over 40 years he has been the lead singer, guitar player and main songwriter for the hard rock band Nightrider (7). And a solo project under the name Tavyrn
