An all-female funk band started by Dottie Mitchell in the early '80s in Los Angeles, CA. The lineup of the band early on included the following players: Brenda Orso (lead singer), Gail Lloyd (lead singer), Dottie Mitchell (bass guitar), Brenda White (keys), Celia Morales (guitar), Latesa Alexander (guitar), Robin Raider (sax), Barbara Moreno (sax), Ava Zetina (drummer). For a short time, lead singer Gail Lloyd was replaced by singer Jhelisa Anderson before the group disbanded.
