American garage rock bass player, producer and record store owner (and self-confessed vinyl junkie). Born April 15, 1947, in Fort Madison, Iowa. Raised in Keokuk, Iowa. Resides in Peoria, Illinois. Nicknamed the Wolf, the Wolfman, and Dag. Founder of Rumble Records (11) in 1979, Younger Than Yesterday/YTY Records, MCCM Records/MCCM Productions, and CME Records. Formed The Pagans in 1965 with classmates Larry LaMaster and Gerry Gabel. Moore was taught how to play bass guitar by Roger Dougherty, bassist of The Outcasts. The Pagans, and another Fort Madison band, The Rogues, evolved into Gonn in 1966. After several lineup changes, Gonn broke up 1969, though would later reunite. In 1969, was hired by Freddie Tieken for his American Music Band, which soon evolved into Ilmo Smokehouse. Also in the Big Huge and Trinity. Relocated to Peoria, Illinois, in the 1970s, and has remained active in music since, as a booking agent, and producing his own music as well as Luther Allison and The Dave Chastain Band. Opened The Peoria Record Company record shop in 1984 at 711 West Main in Peoria, Illinois. In 1998, moved and renamed the shop to Younger Than Yesterday/Strawberry Fields memorabilia shop, at 2615 North University, in Peoria, Illinois. In 2008, toured as a guest of the Fuzztones on their Fuzztones Gonn Primitive Tour. In 2014, reunited with Keith "Slink" Rand to create Slinkenwolf.
