This is the last of the long-running In The Mix series that started over a decade before this was released. Like the previous two albums, this is a revival/best club hits featured over the years. This one focusses solely on rave revival hits released in the early to mid 90's, the time where dance music was at it's absolute best in my opinion. The first CD is really good, and I would say the first half is very solid, but the second half does lose some steam though is still good. Stand out choices here were tracks 6-9, as they were all mixed well and were rather superb. Most other songs are great like The Drummer, Move Your Body, Bassheads, Rhythm Is A Dancer and Move Any Mountain. The second CD is my favourite of the three, and is mostly solid throughout. This one definitely stood out to me the most as hits like Voodoo Ray, Nomad's Devotion and Rhythm Is A Mystery are great. The middle portion is the absolute best this album has to offer giving us Inner City's Pennies From Heaven, and The Sound Of Eden, spectacular! Toward the end they give us Heaven 17's Temptation, Good Life and another classic - The Colour Of Love. The icing on the cake is ending the CD with Fascinating Rhythm, a slow but catchy song. The third CD does have a couple of duds, but the stand out tracks are phenomenal. The Prodigy's appearance here is a nice introduction, and we get Rozalla's Everybody's Free followed by the amazing Papua New Guinea. Track 5 and 6 are quite boring but they are followed by Injected With A Poison, an outstanding 90's classic! Most of the rest of the songs are great except for Extacy, poor choice. Tracks 15-17 are awesome and well known to me, great stuff! The last two songs are average but not too bad. Overall, this is a really good album. It is not perfect by any means because it lacks professional mixing throughout and there are some duds throughout all CD's. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy dance from the 1990s, and this ends the series on a high note.
