Примечание: We know Gary Olson as the singer, songwriter and trumpeter of the band 'Ladybug Transistor', who have already released five albums on Merge Records, and as a producer and sound engineer at the Marlborough Farms Studio deep in the heart of Brooklyn, in the Flatbush neighborhood. And then, in a rural area not far from Oslo, there is the Norwegian Ole Johannes ?leskj?r with his studio Tune-J, who, when he is not busy producing wonderful records, works as a lumberjack in the woods. In addition to Ole (producer and guitarist) and Gary (vocals and trumpet), H?vard Krogedal (bass, cello) and Emil Nikolaisen (drums) from Serena-Maneesh were on board, as well as Joe McGinty (string arrangements, piano and organ) from The Psychedelic Furs and Ryan Adams and Suzanne Nienaber (background vocals) from the Pale Lights. Even though the basic idea for this project was very simple recordings, the fans of Ladybug Transistor can look forward to Gary's typical jubilant trumpet, lush strings and great melodic pop, familiar Ladybug Transistor elements that are also present on this album. The melodies are delicate yet still stick to the music, and the feather-light production gives the whole thing a glow reminiscent of the best times of 1970s radio and 1980s indie pop. When asked how he thinks the album should be heard, Gary Olson answers: "I would suggest listening to it on a moving train, face to face with the window.
