Non-gatefold sleeve. ('Greener' image to 'frame' & text than gatefold die-cut issue).
Buddah 'kaleidoscope-pattern' label.
Produced from the Buddah-owned tapes of an aborted production recorded by the band in November 1967, although the text on the back of the album jacket erroneously states, "These performances were recorded one night in Los Angeles in 1965."
A Krasnow 'phased' shorter version of track A2 recording appears on "Strictly Personal". John French does not appear in the band photo.
(The instrument credited on release as 'Musette' is really known as an 'Oboe Musette'. However, Vliet actually played a 'Shehnai'- which looks similar, but is of Indian origin).
