Gevaert

Defunct Belgian company founded by Lieven Gevaert (1868 - 1935) on June 02, 1894. The company was producing, among others, records (under the label Gevaphone, but also picture discs), and needles for gramophones. In 1964, Gevaert merged with Agfa to become Agfa Gevaert.
