Founded in 1970 by Bernie Yudkowsky, Gold-Mor Distributing Corp. was a record company and nationwide distributor of Little LP's and Oldies singles to the US jukebox market.
Gold-Mor Distributing Corp. selected tunes that would fit the Little LP format from recently released records and the selected material were pressed by the respective record company. Sleeves were produced as replicas in the 7” format from the initial full LP release with a blank rear side. Inserts were produced by Sterling Title Strip Co. Inc. or Star Title Strip Co., Inc. The Assembling, Marketing and Distribution were done by Gold-Mor Distributing Corp.
Timeline:
• 1970 The company was formed in Englewood, New Jersey
• 1972 Moved to Danbury, Connecticut
• 1973 Started distribution and marketing of 45 jukebox singles in conjunction with United Artists Records and RCA
• 1973 Started their own label Gold-Mor and released material on 45 jukebox singles in conjunction with Columbia on this label.
• 1975 Company defunct due to lack of interest from the business and one speed 45 rpm only jukeboxes being sold
