Eight Records
Настоящее имя: Eight Records
Eight Records were a Liverpool based dance music label and production house from the early 90's. They had a nightclub residency at The Mardi in Liverpool, called "G-Love". Many of the acts on the Eight Records label were championed by the late great John Peel (RIP) on his Radio 1 show.
Taken from the sleeve of the compilation:
Hello, this is just a note to let you know how this all happened. We were friends, we wanted to do something that was good for us, something special. So we got together without any of us losing our strength or individuality. We all loved to dance, we all loved to give and we all wanted, more than anything, to build. We had ambitions. We had desire. We had sex. We had everything but cash-and that's what kept us going. The bonds between us are stronger than ever now. We're partners in crime, partners in love. We hope that you can share this joy with us, and more importantly, realize that if we can do it so can you. Love will conquer all.
