Vertebrae Institute Inc.

Vertebrae Institute Inc was originated in 1998 over mad ideas of experiments to the founder Terry Barth and is now a label and home for artists, musicians, and writers. Originally and still remaining a solo project under Vertebrae Institute from a thirteen day experiment of sleep depravation releasing five albums of sound alchemy. Now this fine label stretches out to find the madmen/women who create on their free time and build a mountain of their own universe. Groups like Cyclolith and Joshua McCormack have stretched out to their audience and attracted the absurdities and fairytales inside of them. Where groups like Dead Pillows, Prince Somnambulist & The Neurotic Symphony, Bedroom Theatre, and Id-Oriented Devil Sing have reached a select audience who love their experiments that hypnotize their spinning iris. Vertebrae Institute Inc has also signed up to the film company Rule 42 Productions to do scores, foley, and audio editing for films such as Transcendence and Dope Enigma and plans to continue travels with company owner Nick Richards. Vertebrae Institute Inc has now remodeled a 1920's house in Hammond IN and is using many techniques for recording from Joe Meek to Aphex Twin. They record many artists at no cost for the faith in what they are doing as is.
