Hi-Fi News & Record Review, also sometimes colloquially known as Hi-Fi News, is a British monthly magazine established in June 1956 and reviewing audiophile equipment, high-fidelity records (on vinyl, SACD and digital lossless formats), industry news and related technology. It's currently published by AVTech Media Ltd group alongside several other notable audio-related publications in the UK and US, including Stereophile and Hi-Fi Choice. Hi-Fi News is one of the oldest "hi-fi/hi-end" magazines in the world, preceding the commercial Stereo technology by at least two years and only surpassed by The Gramophone (est. 1923).
