Felsted

Record label, established by British Decca in 1954, at first to reissue American recordings, mostly of jazz. It was named after the village in Essex where Sir Edward Lewis, the head of Britain's Decca Records lived. There was also a catalogue of popular material; this was also issued on a parallel label in the USA that was operated by London.
