Queen Constance Records
Настоящее имя: Queen Constance Records
A short-lived New York-based disco and early hip hop label.
Founded by Peter Brown on October 3, 1978, it operated closely with P&P Records along with several other Peter Brown-influenced sister labels, e.g., Golden Flamingo, Heavenly Star, Land Of Hits, until Queen Constance's dissolution on September 29, 1982.
Its releases were initially distributed by P & D Records as well as Sound Of New York, USA (SONY) (also sister labels), however, Queen Constance later served as the distributor for its own releases along with those issued by its sister labels. In addition, it also served as the the US distributor for a release issued by Destiny, a UK label, and partnered with several other labels in an analogous capacity.
The Queen Constance catalog is presently controlled by Phase One Network, an asset management company.
For counterfeit editions and other unofficial versions of its releases, please see Queen Constance Records (2).
