Rock & Roll (3)

A series of six albums released by Atlantic in 1956 (Clyde McPhatter) and 1957 (the other five), to showcase the label's core artists' Rhythm & Blues music to a white, pop audience. The albums all used similar artwork, and were numbered in series from 8003 to 8008. Sixty years on, the series was collected in 2017 as a six CD box set entitled Atlantic Rock & Roll Series.
