Q-107
Настоящее имя: Q-107
On-air brand name for a number radio stations around the world, although most entries in this database will refer to the original Toronto FM radio station CILQ-FM, which was founded, branded as Q107, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1972.
CILQ's original owner was CFGM Broadcasting Ltd., a division of Allan Slaight's Slaight Communications Inc. The station was acquired by WIC Radio Ltd. in 1985 when Slaight bought Standard Broadcasting Corporation Limited, and became part of Corus Entertainment Inc. in 2000 when WIC's assets were divided between Corus and Canwest Global.
Q107 is also the on-air brand name of several other radio stations in Canada, the United States, and Northern Ireland that take their name from the flagship Toronto station. Stations using this brand name typically broadcast within the 107.1 to 107.9 range on the FM radio, have the letter Q in their call sign (often as the final letter), and may share or re-broadcast content from Q107 Toronto.
