Techno/Electro/Minimal record label from Spain, founded by Rankun in 2006. Rubrik Records is a Barcelona based record label that started out in October of 2006 as a partnership between two friends, DJs and producers, Rankun and Javier Orduña. Three years later, Rubrik has already become a leading force in both the online market. Focusing on new talent. With the Rubrik roster of artists already including Rankun, Javier Orduña, Retronouveau, Mark Broom, Negat and the family growing to include Alex Lario. Proyect Rubrik was started at 2004 when organizing several musical events it is consolidated as a solid project. 2006 it is the year in which his first reference publishes with the principal artists of the stamp in format vinyl, Glimmervoid EP. The influences are very clear minimal, electro and techno that offers this label, looking at the future without forgetting the past and certainly enjoying the musical present. With this in mind, Rubrik does not so much refer to minimalism or techno, as it rather claims the right amount of balance with each of its artists.
