Quintessence

Label that was launched in 1977 by Pickwick International, Inc.. Initially it was a classical music label. In 1982 the label was sold to Intersound Inc. It is the sister label to the UK Contour Red Label classical label and use the same series brands. See for example Critic's Choice and Classics For Joy The label followed the usual Pickwick strategie to release budget releases of licensed recordings.
