US Soul and Disco label owned by Don Cornelius and Dick Griffey. Founded in 1975, The label was closed and re-founded as Solar (Sound Of Los Angeles Records) in 1977 by Dick Griffey alone, after parting from Don Cornelius who controlled the "Soul Train" brand relating to the TV show he created and conducted since 1971.
