The recordBar (emphasis on the dB in the middle of the name) is a music venue co-owned by Steve Tulipana and Shawn Sherrill, located at 1520 Grand Blvd in Kansas City, Missouri. From the time it opened in 2005 until its final show on January 2, 2016, the venue was originally located at 1020 Westport Road in Kansas City, Missouri. The Grand Blvd location officially opened in summer 2016, but had occasional pop-up shows to garner interest and support starting in April 2016.
