Independent Japanese label founded by radio producers Masao Suzuki (5) and Mike Rogers (9). The label specialized in developing (both Japanese and foreign) artists in Japan promoted as overseas artists, and even packaged its releases to appear to be imported. Several artists created this way, starting with Nadège (3), were signed to major labels. The first release on this label according to catalog number is technically Watch Your Step (SMCL-1001), which appears to have been released before the label was named.
