Österr. Gesellschaft AKM

AKM stands for authors (A), composers (K) and music publishers (M) and is a registered cooperative with limited liability and a Collective Management Organisation according to the Austrian law on Collective Management Organisations. Austro Mechana is a private limited company and a subsidiary of AKM. Based on the authorization granted by the Austrian Supervisory Authority for Collective Management Organisations, AKM administers the performing rights, broadcasting rights and provision rights in musical works with or without text from composers, authors, their legal successors and music publishers in Austria.
