Pacific High Recording

US recording studio founded by engineer Peter Weston in Sausalito, California in 1968, and moved to San Francisco in 1969. The studio was purchased by Ron Wickersham in 1971 and renamed Alembic Studios.
Note: Do not confuse with Pacific Recording Studios, which was located in San Mateo.

Notable for being one of the first 16-track recording studios in the country. KSAN used the studio for live broadcasts. The Grateful Dead, Steve Miller, and Van Morrison recorded there, among others. Richard Olsen worked as a producer there.
