Doobie Shea Studios, Ferrum, VA

Built by Tim Austin (3) in 1988 so that The Lonesome River Band could have full control over their recording process, including recording, miking techniques, and mixing. Relocated to Boones Mill, Virginia after it was destroyed by a fire started by a lightning strike on August 24, 1996. The last project completed at the original Doobie Shea Studio became the first release on Doobie Shea Records, "The Stanley Tradition."
