Columbia University Press

Columbia University Press (CUP) is an American university press based in New York City. Founded in 1893, CUP is the fourth-oldest university press in the United States. The press is notable for publishing many reference works, such as The Columbia Encyclopedia (1935 – present), The Columbia Granger's Index to Poetry (digital version is The Columbia World of Poetry Online) and The Columbia Gazetteer of the World (also available online), as well as for publishing music.
