Union Cinema, Kingston

Cinema in located in Kingston, Surrey from March 1937 to 1938. Previously known as The Regal (1936-68) and owned by Union Cinemas from 1936 until taken over by Associated British Cinemas (ABC) in 1938. The building opened in 1932 and was re-named ABC in 1961 until closure on 17 July 1976 (see The A.B.C. Kingston-Upon-Thames). The Wurlitzer organ was removed in 1972 to The Musical Museum, Brentford, Middlesex.
