Summit (16)

Australian 78 label manufactured by the Klippel Record Co. from late 1931 to late 1932. Early releases (with a "Z" prefix) used masters from U.S. Plaza, Crown, Gennett & NYRL as well as UK Imperial which had previously been released on the Australian Angelus & Lyric labels. After the first 50 or so issues the "Z" prefix was dropped and only U.S. Crown or UK Imperial masters appeared. There were just over 150 releases in total. The company also produced a 6" Baby Summit label for children's records.
