2 Groove Productions were formed in the early nineties by musicians and composers Michael Chantler and Kwashie! They were joined on Guitar by David Nettleton and Paul Freeth on the Electric Piano. Together they played the live circuit in and around London under the name "Embrace" and "A Certain Pleasure".
The first release on the 2 Groove Records label was titled "Sweet Embrace" featuring the voice of Beverley Faloon. This double A sided 12" also featured the instrumental track "Wake Up" on which Eddie Charles kicked it on the Flute.
The next single was "Sunday Morning Blue" which featured the vocals of native New Yorker, Chantel Mapp. The last outing on 2 Groove Productions came with A Certain Pleasure's "Be There". The lead vocals were written and performed by Ghida De Palma.
