Hallo-Ton

Also credited as "Halloton" on some releases. German record company, manufacturer and publisher in the late 1950's / early 1960's producing flexi-discs that were sold at news kiosks instead of recordshops. Owner was Hildegard Licht from near Karlsruhe (Graben/ Baden). The company focus was on magazines, first on romance novels (see K - R - V), then on a youth magazine called "Hallo", in which these flexi discs were advertised. The company also appeared occasionally as a label, mainly on promotional flexi-discs.
