סינגל'ה
Настоящее имя: סינגל'ה
סינגל'ה (read Singal'e) was a very short lived Israeli CD distributor who brought fresh wind to the Israeli music scene.
CD singles were rarely commercially released by the Israeli record labels who released only promo singles of Israeli artists in limited editions to the press and radio stations. For international artists they used stock or promo copies they received from the labels abroad and these were sent to press and radio stations.
Only rarely they released CD singles by international artists.
Singal'e challenged this and their moto was that music is a product that should be consumed everywhere.
They signed an agreement with major Israeli distributors and they targeted the release of 10-20 CD singles every month which were sold in convenience stores and every month there was supposed to a new collection of CD singles, while remaining stocks were taken of the shelf.
This initiative was a commercial flop and Singal'e stopped its operation after a few months.
The singles which were released were available for sale for a short time, sold in poor quantities and then withdrawn, so they are highly collectible now.
Some of the singles have "Export and/or selling of this CD out of Israel is strictly prohibited".
