Series of 21 LPs issued by the The Record Society from 1972 onwards, through its parent label, World Record Club. From 1975 on, World Record Club becomes more and more prominent on the artwork, as The Record Society slowly disappeared. The LPs were originally issued by Decca (France). Not issued in other formats. WRC started reissuing the set in 1975, with the new R- numbers on the labels.
