The True Vine

The True Vine is a professional home studio run by Adam Casey out of Bulleen, Victoria, Australia (a suburb north-east of Melbourne). "It’s a real, breathing house with wooden floors throughout, a large and inviting treated split level live room with 6 metre high pitched ceilings, a stunning 300 year old German upright piano, a 1913 Estey Pump Organ, a 19th Century Estey pump organ (and many more instruments), a separate control room and three isolation rooms (which double as bedrooms for artists who wish to stay here). I love working here and other artists do too, largely due to the eccentric and ‘homely’ nature of the setup. Please don’t think this translates to ‘bedroom recordings’: have a listen to my work and you’ll hear it’s much more than that. I only work with artists whose music I connect with. I’m at my best working as a creative producer building up (or breaking down) textures, helping with arrangements and developing song writing craft. I love to capture spontaneous moments, mistakes (and sometimes extend them) and I love getting the most out of my mixes and your instruments.
