Globe Theatre, Stockton

Grade II listed art deco theatre in Stockton-on-Tees, north-east England. The first Stockton Globe theatre was built in 1913, and has since been re-built twice on the same location, initially in 1926 and again in 1935. It became a popular concert venue in the 1950's, and operated as such - alongside use as a cinema - until the mid 1970's. It subsequently operated as a bingo hall until closure in 1997. Restoration work commenced on the building in 2017, and it re-opened as an entertainment venue in September 2021.
