Italian printing factory, located in Moncalieri (Torino).
ILTE (Industria Libraria Tipografica Editrice) was officially born October 31th, 1951 following Istituto del libro italiano S.r.l. (born in 1947) as a printing facility for SIP (Società Italiana per l'Esercizio Telefonico). At the time the state telephone company had a continuos need of printing to satisfy the ever-growing request for Pagine Gialle (Yellow Pages).
Operating since 1952 in Corso Bramante in Torino (a factory projected by architects Aloisio e Casalegno) was later moved to Moncalieri.
Completely privatised between 1996 and 1998 ILTE is still operating.
