Heavy Metal Demolition

Heavy Metal Demolition was a Heavy Metal zine based in Cleveland Ohio that operated from 1985 to 1992. Aside from producing the zine they also collaborated with Underground Express to release and promote "Distant Thunder: Sounds Of The Cleveland Metal Storm" in late November 1990. Founded by Mr. Bearbomb and Kat George, HMD were known for being strong supporters of local, independent, and underground Heavy Metal musicians, especially those from the Cleveland Metal scene and other Ohio Metal scenes. Aside from writing hundreds of live reviews, concert reviews, demo, and album reviews for HMD they also collaborated with local artists, labels, and fans for cover art, special articles, review columns, and other content, as well as being closely tied with Underground Express and C.O.R.R. (the Cleveland Organization for Real Rock).
