United Kingdom label under Def Jam Recordings. In 2015, in correspondence to parent label Universal's new management and the disbandment of The Island Def Jam Music Group, Def Jam UK was folded onto Universal Music UK. Today, Def Jam's UK operations are now under the hands of Virgin EMI Records.
