Series of 250 budget-priced, remastered jazz reissues, released by EMI Music Japan Inc. All releases were priced at 999 yen, hence the name of the series. The release schedule was staggered into five separate tranches: 1. TOCJ-50001 to TOCJ-50050 (green obi with black box): September 22, 2010 2. TOCJ-50051 to TOCJ-50100 (green obi with red box): December 22, 2010 3. TOCJ-50101 to TOCJ-50150 (red obi with blue box): April 20, 2011 4. TOCJ-50151 to TOCJ-50200 (light blue obi with red box): September 21, 2011 5. TOCJ-50201 to TOCJ-50250 (yellow obi with black box): December 21, 2011 Sub-series 1 and 2 were released for the EMI Music Japan Inc. 50th Anniversary.
