The first 15 vinyl releases appeared under the original label name Container Records Hamburg. In 1993 the original label was sold to PolyGram GmbH and subsequently released under the new name Container Records. Their catalog numbers continued. The Container Records Store was opened on the 17.02.1992 at Reeperbahn 115 in 20359 Hamburg/Germany. The official Store Opening Party felt together with the Compilation Release Party Lexicon Of Techno House at UNIT club Hamburg on the 14.02.1992 (UNIT I Talstraße 3-5 20359 Hamburg/Germany). Founder of Container Records was Martin Larsen.
