Pentagram

Label founded by former Capitol and Mercury A&R man Steve Douglas and producers Al Schmitt and Bobby Applegate. Initially distributed by Jay-Gee Record Co. (1970), then, via Viva - Bravo Records, Inc., by Decca/MCA (1970-71) and finally Warner Bros. (1971-1972). The label folded following a lawsuit from tape manufacturer Ampex.
