Serie Hispana

Spanish-language series on Decca 78 rpm records. Started in 1939 on burgundy labels and originally using only catalog numbers in the 21000 series. Early in 1942, the series switched to black labels and releases in the older Spanish-language 10000 series were added, including represses of records that had originally appeared on regular blue labels. The series was basically discontinued after 1942, although in 1949 half a dozen new records were issued in it.
