Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, Yokohama

Concert hall complex in Yokohama, Japan that opened in 1975. In contains two halls: the large hall seats 2488, while the small hall seats 433. It is located in front of Yamashita Park, close to the port of Yokohama on one side and Chinatown on the other. Home of “The Kanagawa International Arts Festival”, organized by the Kanagawa Arts Foundation, which features opera, ballet and dance, as well as orchestral and chamber music, as well as many other types of events involving artistic creation and promotion. Also known in English as Kanagawa Prefectural Civic Hall.
