Настоящее имя: W.T. Grant Company
Nationwide chain of retail stores operating between 1906 and 1976.
William T. Grant opened his first “W. T. Grant Co. 25 Cent Store” in Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1906. Promoted as "four stores in one," the chain focused on clothing, dry goods, home hardware, and variety items. After World War II, it also sold furniture. The chain peaked at 1,074 stores nationally, but was forced to file for bankruptcy in 1975, just three years after the death of its founder, and closed down completely soon after.
