Prestige Records (3)
Настоящее имя: Prestige Records (3)
Also appears as "Prestige" only.
Independent NZ label of the late 50s and early 60s. Owned by Auckland impresario Phil Warren who died in 2002. Folded into Top Rank Records (N.Z.) Ltd. in 1959 (renamed as Allied International Records Ltd. in 1960), Warren then becoming a partner in that company. Warren sold his shares in 1961 but kept some of the catalogue, notably Johnny Devlin.
Please note the Australian label Prestige Records (14) shared a very similar logo and to complicate things the two companies shared some catalogue. They are standalone labels.
