Nemcron Recordings
Настоящее имя: Nemcron Recordings
No longer active, Necrom Recordings promoted themselves as an independent label dedicated to releasing ground-breaking tunes totally for the dance floor. The label was meant to be a conduit for artists, new and established, to experiment and break barriers.
NemcronRecordings.com went under after releasing the promo for their 3rd record, slated to consist of Ink & J.W.'s Desire backed with DJ Seen's Energy Signal. The promo was set to be released in December 2003, with full release to follow in late January. The B-side got replaced by Fiction, by Basic Operations & Knick. After that plans were on the table for an EP entitled The Nemcronic EP, which was never created.
Nemcron Recordings has returned from a 5 year hiatus to re-establish itself as one of the most visionary labels in the DnB scene. No matter if the tracks come from the heartbeat of DnB in South London or the tobacco fields of North Carolina Nemcron Recordings has and will continue to seek out the raw, uncut DnB that we all know and love. The focus will be on releasing quality music and marketing it effectively so that each release can reach its full potential.
Formed in early ’96, by 3 friends who shared a passion for DnB in all its forms, Nemcron Recordings soon emerged as one of the early labels to come out of North America with trans atlantic connections. The 1st release was Loxy & Dylan’s stormer ‘Area 52’ b/w N.C.’s premier producer 4041’s (RIP) ‘JabberJaw’. The release was received well and lead to the release of NEM002 The Architex’s (Ink, Loxy et all) ‘Scarlett Rain’ b/w 4041’s ‘Objection’. It was after this release that the label started generating some serious buzz and was added to the expanding rooster of the UK based Alpha Magic Dist. For its 3rd release Ink & J Dub’s ‘Desire’ b/w Basic Operations & Knick’s ‘Fiction’. After promos sold out in a matter of hours it was looking like this would be Nemcron Recordings biggest release to date. As fate would have it shortly after this release Alpha Magic fell on hard times and was closed down.
Fast forward 5 years amid the cries of “DnB is dead!!” and the mass migration of almost all the best stateside DnB producers to other genres (Indie/Nu Disco/Dubstep) Nemcron Recordings rises up from the ashes with a new global distribution deal with power house distributer Nu Urban Music. Nu Urban Music is home to many labels such as: Urban Takeover, Congo Natty, Full Cycle, Playaz, Ganja, Prototype, Undiluted, Charge, Stereotype, Dubline, Art Recordings, Badman Press, Grinch Recordings, 7 Day Sessions and many, many more spanning the genres of DnB, Dubstep, Nu Rave, and House. We are very proud to a part of this ever expanding and diverse rooster of quality labels. Look out for releases featuring mainstays Loxy & Ink as well new artists and collaborators. Nemcron Recordings is the structure of Sound.
