Ruthless Records (2)

Ruthless Records was a label started by the punk rock band The Effigies along with their friend/manager, Jon Babbin. The label was not much more than just a name, with the bands being responsible for expenses and other details associated with their releases. Steve Albini initially came on board to help with some of the work, but by the mid '80s, he was running the label himself. He later handed the label over to members of Rifle Sport. Ruthless ceased activity around the turn of the decade.
