A series of six 7" vinyl EP's recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark by mainly Grønlændertruppen Mik accompanied by Henry Hansens Spillemandskvartet and originally released by Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel (KGH) and Bob Records (6) from 1964 to about 1967/68 where all six 7" were compiled into a box set.
The individual volumes appear as FOUR BASIC VERSIONS with identical matrix/runouts.
Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel & Bob Records (6):
1. KGH Kalâtdlit-Nunât version: KGH logo on front cover/center labels (center hole: solid or knock-out).
2. KGH Grønland Kalder version: KGH logo on front cover/center labels (center hole: large).
Bob Records (6):
3. Bob Records Grønland Kalder! "square logo" version: "Bob records" logo in square box on front cover/"Bob Records" with no outline on center labels (center hole: knock-out).
4. Bob Records Grønland Kalder! "curved logo" version: "Bob Records" logo in curved box on front cover/center labels (center hole: knock-out).
Version 1, 3 & 4 issued in cardboard sleeves, printed by Printex.
Version 2 issued in an open folded sheet, printed by Helge Christensen.
The center labels are mainly ordinary blue. But you wiil also meet lighter and darker blue, black and cyan color versions, for example.
You will also meet MISPRINT VERSIONS with a Version 2 cover + center hole and Version 3 or 4 center labels, for example. Please, submit them from the sleeve information, with proper explanations.
All releases/versions were issued with a folded liner notes/info insert with same basic layout, KGH logo and the text: Kalâtdlit-Nunât – Tusariardlingôk Grønland kalder / Greenland calling / Udgivet af Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel. No. 5 also with a single or double sided 7” insert.
The EP's were reissued all together on the 2011 CD compilation Kalaallit Nunaat Oqaatsinit Erinnnanillu = Grønland I Ord Og Toner = Greenland In Words And Music
