Founded and opened in 1921 by Otto de Nolte this open air location is located on the glacis of the Zitadelle, Berlin within a natual reserve.
It offers space for up to 600 people and has a stage of 20 x 10m. It is used for theatre, stand-up comedy and live music between May and September continuously since its opening (with very small interruptions during WW2) making it the oldest running space of its kind in Germany.
