Freilichtbühne Am Juliusturm

Also known as Freilichtbühne Spandau or Freilichtbühne an der Zitadelle. Founded and opened in 1921 by Otto de Nolte this open air location is located on the glacis of the Zitadelle, Berlin within a natual reserve. It offers space for up to 600 people and has a stage of 20 x 10m. It is used for theatre, stand-up comedy and live music between May and September continuously since its opening (with very small interruptions during WW2) making it the oldest running space of its kind in Germany.
