Holland Pop Festival, Rotterdam

Music festival held in Kralingse Bos, in the Kralingen neighbourhood of Rotterdam, on 26th-28th June 1970; also called Kralingen Music Festival. In both English and Dutch, the festival is also known by the English name Stamping Ground, and was sometimes billed as the European answer to Woodstock. Not to be confused with the dance festival Stamping Ground.
