Timely Tunes
Настоящее имя: Timely Tunes
1931 was not a good time for record companies, and was certainly not the best time to introduce a new label, albeit a budget one, but the mighty RCA Victor company did just that with "Timely Tunes". The label was introduced in July, 1931 and sold by Montgomery Ward. The label's entire output was released at one time (July 1, 1931), according to RCA files. The catalogue started at C-1550 and finished with C-1590. The recording and pressing quality are up to Victor's high standards; the artists were usually given pseudonyms. In 1933 RCA began to press for Montgomery Ward and used the store's own label (Montgomery Ward).
